I've seen it so many times in Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain Natl' Park, and Glacier. Can't say that I feel sorry for people that get too close and end up getting hurt. The thing that does bother me is that these people stress the animals.

That bull wants a piece of anybody or anything he perceives as a threat. Granted it's in town, but that's still a wild animal and nature still isn't a petting zoo. Magnificent animals though, aren't they?

Except when he was in rut.

He would knock you over and trample you If he had a chance. I saw him take on aggressive dogs that barely survived the encounter. And he was a domesticated animal.

Wild animals in rut will kill you.

It gives me the shivers to see them continue to mill around. Best to put distance and make an emergency phone call from the safe distance.
