I read somewhere that Oklahoma is about as racially diverse as NC; with the largest Native American percentage of any state and quite a large Latino population. I assume it’s a combination of Republican suppression and Democratic indifference that have turned it so red. IMO, this is what abandoning the 50-state strategy does. We may never win Oklahoma in the presidential race, but giving up completely demoralizes Democrats in these red states, and it affects all the down ballot races. This is how Trump won West Virginia by 40 points!
