Ganim supports Trump impeachment inquiry, calls president 'unfit'
Mayor Joe Ganim voiced his support of the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump in a video posted to his mayoral campaign Twitter page Sunday night.
Ganim said in the video, while standing next to state Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., that he supports the Connecticut delegation in the push for impeachment. He also urged other mayors across the country to voice their support.
“If what is said about the president is true ... he needs to be impeached,” Ganim said. “It shows he’s unfit to serve as commander in chief and as someone who can lead our country into the future.”
