You know who's looking like a genius now?
Rex Tillerson. And anyone else who got the hell out before they got sucked into this mess.

23. Took him working in the administration to realize that?
That is not genius, we all knew the creature is a fucking moron before 2016, before Tillerson decided to join the administration. Lets face it, Tillerson had his agenda that did not include working on behalf of the people.

Too bad so sad. I would add that it sucks to be them, but as they were all voluntary members of the Destroy American Rule of Law Club, they get just what they deserve. |

14. Correct.
Once he realized that Trump was too much of a loose cannon to really get anything done, he no longer had any reason to be SoS. He was only the Secretary of oil.

15. I beg to differ. anyone with half a brain and an ounce of principle would have gotten out.
Didn't take a genius to figure the out. Trump packed his administration with morons and slimebalms. That doesn't make Tillerson a genius by comparison.

24. Slight correction on your correct assessment...
anyone with half a brain and an ounce of principle would have NEVER joined this administration. The corruption, the filth was well known during the campaign, and to some people, even before that.
He went in because he had a personal agenda that did not include the benefit of the country, but the benefit of Putin and his pockets. |

30. Yes, I agree, but I believe the post I responded to was referring to people who left the
administration after joining it. Deeming Tillerson a genius for leaving discounts the idiocy of becoming involved in the first case. I suppose some would argue that they joined the administration to temper its excesses and jeep it from doing harm. Obviously that didn't work.

Anyone with any intelligence and moral fibre would have felt a sense of unease in the early days.
Looking down and seeing the swamp water rising and soaking your nice leather shoes would have made anyone wanting to leave as soon as possible. |

18. It's important to remember why he took the job & stayed so long
Specifically, so he wouldn't have to pay taxes on his Exxon windfall. It's a nice little perquisite/tax law loophole for Cabinet members. By taking the job & staying as long as he did, he may well have saved $20 million, IIR. At that point he only stuck around long enough to get his old corporation oil business with Russia.

22. Anyone who made the decision to work with the creature is no genius, on the contrary
Working for the creature, what to expect:
1. You will be thrown under the bus at any time. Reality check, YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL, THE CREATURE IS ONLY LOYAL TO HIMSELF and Ivanka. 2. The creature is an ignorant. 3. The creature is a traitor 4. The creature is a con. 5. The creature has no morals. 6. The creature is an adulterous, and possibly a rapist. 7. etc., etc., etc. Before Tillerson decided to accept his post alongside the creature all of the above traits in the creature's character were well known, so what kind of a genius accepts a post when he/she knows what is coming and that you will be at the loosing end? Not much of a genius. Tillerson will be remembered as another tool in the corruption of the creature, nothing else. Lets face it, Tillerson was not a good servant to the nation, there is nothing he did to help the country, on the contrary, he was trying to do Putin's work by trying to open oil drilling in Russia and possibly in Alaska. Not a genius, but another crook in this administration. |
