Moscow Mitch won't bring impeachment hearings to the senate
Just my own fear. Is that even possible?

1. constituion has no mandate on time frame and a simple 51% vote
by senate can "delay a trial" and ALL senate floor business must past thru the majority leader and he can run the clock out to Nov 2020 easy enough
NO upside for GOP to even hold a trial |

2. That may be but we're still going to impeach the big boy
How the GOP senate acts as a result is on them.

3. It is better not to...
Don't cross the bridge before we get to it
![]() These are times that can encourage the tendency to think in catastrophic ways. A lot can, and probably will, happen before we get to that point. Here, have a flow chart, (if you haven't seen it yet) that you can use as a stage bill along the way. You can play a sequential game of bingo: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/benking/confused-by-the-impeachment-process-this-flowchart-should |

7. He's already on records saying the senate would have to take it up
But if he doesn't, he would seal his fate for reelection- so win/win in my book.

8. That has been the excuse until quite recently
by Nancy Pelosi not to start proceedings in the House. Lucky us, Trump finally did something so egregious (phone call to Ukraine) that she has finally realized that impeachment needs to happen.
Let's worry about the Senate after the House had done its duty. |
