So let me get this straight.
Trump pulls our troops out of the Kurds' homeland, allowing them to be slaughtered by a brutal dictator. Trump's pals have a serious sad in the news, stopping short of actually DOING ANYTHING about it, and so Trump assures them that if Erdogan attacks the Kurds, he (Trump) will be vewy vewy angwy. And then he announces that he invited said brutal dictator TO THE FUCKING WHITEHOUSE!
I am beyond pissed!

(16,616 posts)The cowardice is all over the place. Lindsey Graham is full of crap. Something is going on and I wish somebody smarter than me would put it together. Is this a continuation of his "scorched earth"-Impeachment policy? Joseph Dunford left the Pentagon six or seven days ago; does that have anything to do with this?
Something stinks like 3-day-old mackerel here. Our country is about to be complicit in genocide.

(86,536 posts)But even on this cold, snowy day, I also feel like I could hike all the way to DC and gather millions to march with me to personally grab him and his enablers by the scruff of the neck and kick their traitorous asses off the planet.

(4,079 posts)It would be a long march for me (Colorado) but I'm ready.
Montana, and I just got my ass kicked by slamming to get a harvest indoors before today's snow and killer cold. Took five furious days of hard work and begging everyone we know to come and help. Whatever didn't get in by this morning is now biomass.
This latest treasonous act makes me furious to the point that even as exhausted as I am, I could still make a serious attempt at marching all the way there.

(58,785 posts)Kurdish. as well as Syrian, Turkish and others, are in is probably more significant, even though they're greatly outnumbered by Sunni Kurds.
American withdrawal actually has the potential to lead effectively to the eradication of Christianity throughout most of the MI, the home of Christianity. The Republican Party isn't just the center of America's Christian zionism, they're very strongly pro- Christians wherever they're found: something that soulless Trump forgot to consider.
He's actually probably feeling a little cowardly now as he faces the emergency he just created. He cannot survive without the Christian right; and as for leaking and so on, his administration is packed with them, from his VP and cabinet on down.
