Serious question for the legal experts here.

Say the Democrats impeach Trump in the House and a trial then takes place in the Senate with Chief Justice Roberts presiding. Before such a trial starts, could the Democrats go before Roberts and show all instances of Republicans (like Graham and McConnell) displaying their biased opinions and have those senators disqualified as jurors on the basis of them having well-known prejudiced opinions?
