it probably is best for the country to do it quickly before he burns everything down.

If the enablers in the Senate will not convict right now, then I think Speaker Pelosi and the House are following the correct strategy:

Seize the narrative and news cycle that this is an inquiry. Impeachment is very serious and everyone wants the pResident to have an opportunity to explain his actions via witness depositions, documents, etc. Why in the world would he block that opportunity?

Then, continue to expose the bad deeds and layer on the obstruction in a methodical and public way. Do not hold any vote until public opinion has fully turned and the republicans will not only vote to remove, but will pay a price for not having done it sooner. Hopefully that will also make pardons poison for the repubs.

to sweep it away quickly. As much as I'd hate to do anything to help them, the damage to our country and standing in the world is increasing and accelerating.

Getting him out quickly is an exit ramp that at least I am willing to take.

Politically, I'm with you 100%. Make the whole corrupt party die a painful death by a thousand cuts.

In a year, voters won't even remember Trump was impeached. The media will be happily reporting 24/7 about the Bidens' corruption, Warren's pregnancies or Sander's cardiac health. And Republican candidates won't have to spend all next year defending Trump.

Diagnosing Trump (with George Conway)
< 1 day ago · 76 minutes
George Conway, conservative lawyer and outspoken Trump critic, joins Preet Bharara for a special episode of Stay Tuned, "Diagnosing Trump." A longstanding member of the Federalist Society who played a critical role in Clinton's impeachment, Conway is one of the few conservative voices openly challenging Trump’s presidency—and calling for his impeachment.

You may be familiar with Conway’s other half: Kellyanne Conway, who currently serves as Counselor to the President. Despite his wife’s work, Conway continues to publicly pen—on Twitter and in editorials—his virulent criticisms of Trump.

In this exclusive, wide-ranging interview, Conway discusses why Trump’s narcissism renders him incapable of carrying out presidential duties, the likelihood and contours of impeachment, the 2020 presidential election, and whether history will be kind to those who stayed silent during Trump’s tenure.

decide when to cut it off and vote out articles.

A lot of the really bad stuff is yet to come out with corroboration...hopefully Nancy and/or Schiff know when counterintelligence and whistleblower shoes will drop and can capture some more big misconduct.
