I told her if she has to bail, to come to my home in Thousand Oaks. Don’t know how good an idea that is. I had to evacuate to her house 11 months ago.

A dear friend of mine lives in Westlake Village. I just texted her a few hours ago asking if everything was all right, and she said it wasn’t a problem because most of the fire danger was in Northern California. Granada Hills is too close for me to have a peaceful night about this.

The firefighters. I sure hope it was an accident of nature and not another hater.

Santa Clarita Valley Fire and Sheriff. Very active for this early in the morning. Firefighters are giving a lot of information while talking to each other about areas threatened.

My heart goes out to everyone affected.

October and November were always tense months there and it just seems to be getting worse.
