So in a way it's a shame. In way, he'll probably be better off without the slime that is FOXnosie.

out by two 6'6', 250 lb guards I had never seen. They gave him the bum's rush almost. Made me wonder where they were keeping those two goons? Guess they keep guards like that in reserve somewhere in case any fired worker gets any ideas of going the "disgruntled" route.

My understanding is that it is pretty controversial unless theft of documents, digital content or sabotage of records is a real possibility. Even there, generally speaking, there could be other employees (from other units or departments) that could come in to help pack up personal items.

Treating people with respect goes a long way toward avoiding future problems. It seems like common sense to me.

For these kinds of contracts, it would usually pay out the employee's normal wages for the duration of the non-compete period. It is very often paired with a non-disparagement clause, so if he says anything that Fox deems negative, they can end his severance payments and sue for damages.

I wouldn't bet on hearing anything juicy from Shep for a good long while.

Could mean he up and quit on the air. And he can't "report for awhile" probably because the last contract he had had a non-compete clause in it.
