A good question for your grumpy Trumpie uncle.
The holidays are almost upon us and many of us will be thrust into a dining situation with family. Assuming every family has that one person who thinks everything Trump does is the work of a stable genius, I have an interesting conversation starter:
"Is it alright that Trump took money from military projects to build a few miles of his wall?" You know the answer already, but let Uncle Trumpie commit to unconditional approval for such an executive order. Then: "Does that mean Obama could have taken Pentagon or NASA money for reparations?"
If he doesn't choke on his drumstick he may come up with: "but the border is an emergency!". "Oh... you mean like climate change?" "Well we'll get that with the next president then".
I know this assumes Uncle Trumpie is white and somewhat racist, but yeah.
