The term Pro-life is an example of newspeak and reframing.

They went from being against abortion to a more inclusive term that sounds positive, which just sounds better and supposedly includes other factors.

However, as is pointed out in the OP, it remains "anti" and is "pro" in name only. Deceptive!

They're "pro-life" for fetuses only.

They don't care what happens to you after you're born.
