of stealing change can get a poor child murdered in the back of a police car. His name was
Santos Rodriguez. I was 10 at then, and lived just outside of Dallas. But I have never forgotten him.

Wasn't really a burglary. Someone stole change from a soda machine outside a gas station.

It was not relevant to shooting a cuffed suspect. I would hope now that the status of the victim as a suspect would not even be admissible.
He should have been in prison the rest of his life.
