I’d love to hear from someone who works in TV news... does that mean she has a green screen set up in her house? A/V equipment? Or does a crew go to her house each time she appears?

Green screen or home office backdrops. No crews.

I don't work in TV though. This is just standard stuff for remote workers (any industry) who video conference a lot.

James Cavanaugh (terrorism analyst) has a nice office set up with a "Maltese Falcon" on his bookshelf.

shows, and mostly he goes to the local affiliate, sits in front of a big TV screen where they switch backdrops.
