the near 90% approval among rethugs of King Midas of Corruption.
Except perhaps senator Romney because he is independently wealthy.
Most senators are life long politicians. Most depend on amassing wealth with re-elections.

The Constitution says "two-thirds of members present" is required to convict & remove.

If some Republicans boycott the vote & aren't present it takes less than 67 votes to convict.

I've thought about trying to start a stealth campaign to convince right wingers that GOP Senators should boycott the vote ("It's an unconstitutional impeachment! An attempt to undo the election! An attempted coup! Republican Senators should not give it legitimacy by participating in the vote!&quot to see how many fall for it.
