Rooney (Republican) Foreign Affairs Cmte just said...

It’s clear there was quid pro quo and an abuse of power, and upon pressing said it may be an impeachable offense.

Now criticizing admin for Kurd problem, is skeptical of any announced cease fire.

Agrees with Pelosi now about all roads leading to Putin, didn’t believe it before but new Ukraine server mess and the connection to Russia now thinks Pelosi has a point.

My commentary- it’s not a declaration of intent to impeach but it’s commentary no one would have expected a Republican congressman to be saying just 2 weeks ago.

(CNN interview on now)

We need allies in the Republican Party to save our nation. We can’t attack the people who want to help. It does us no good.

Does not signify that any republican will vote to impeach or convict Trump. One thing I have to give to the republicans is they stick together no matter what. Just my opinion.

6. We are barely two weeks into the impeachment inquiry

Because none of what's being revealed was deemed worthy of investigation by Trump's private law firm (aka the Department of Justice), the House has been having to create and pursue its own investigation, call witnesses in closed session so as not to compromise national security, and plod forward against an administration that's stonewalling every legal avenue for investigation.

And even at that, some Republicans have already conceded that there's sufficient grounds for the House to impeach and the Senate to try the President. Wait until the inquiry becomes an actual full-blown investigation.

Figure .... Compiled charges from the 6 House committees in November. They have to put a public face on it and there's barely time to assemble it all by December 1. If they stretch it just right it will be the week before Christmas.

I do not expect to see the Senate get this until late January. Perfect for an election year.
