I can't get the letter to post here. If you click on the Twitter link you can read this. It's unreal

(62,444 posts)That is merely a letter. Lawyers send stupid letters all day and every day.
While, yes, this is yet another meaningless and stupid letter sent by a lawyer, it is simply not true that "Trump is suing CNN".

(15,933 posts)See letter by attorney Charles Harder sent to @CNN President Jeff Zucker and EVP David Vigilante on behalf of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.
What is this BS?
Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.
Since when do campaigns have incorporated in the title?

(13,903 posts)courts find in favor of CNN, abuse of power by president, another article of impeachment. If only we were so lucky.

.... laughed out of court. Just because you don't like the coverage you get you can't sue who ever
did the coverage. I think the 1st amendment covers that.

(82,849 posts)I know that in some jurisdictions a lawyer threatening a lawsuit who then doesn't sue runs afoul of the professional ethics requirements. Harder explicitly says that "my clients intend to file legal action against you." If CNN tells Harder to go suck an egg, Harder may be in trouble if he doesn't file the threatened legal action.
