and vote for it if he were still in the House. He said it makes him sad to say it, but the corruption are so widespread that he has no choice
He also dings Democrats on not taking a vote for the inquiry, but it's secondary to his support for impeachment

(14,176 posts)I don't think they mentioned it in the interview at all. He said the Mulvaney press conference was a big deal in his thinking and that the involvement of so many people--he mentioned Rick Perry in particular--makes continuing as we are untenable.

(9,951 posts)... he knows, of course, impeachment is called for... even before it was explicitly stated by Mick M. I noticed he never led the conversation back to his book, which he has been doing, a lot; it showed me he's seriously rattled (and he should be) by what's happening in the world.

(10,095 posts)He is my senator, talk about a non-entity in the state. Rarely heard from, rarely seen, just going to D.C. fundraisers for his upcoming campaign which he would win without spending a penny. I do not know why he gets so much pub from the establishment.
(Not a dig at your post at all btw)

(15,276 posts)for president as a "centrist" to "bring the country together". No matter that Kasich is as right a winger as there is dressed in (moderate}"sheep's clothing".
It is a completely self-serving position to take.

Courage is NOT waiting for critical mass and polling numbers to break the 50-50 threshold...

(14,176 posts)a lot of people who only change their minds when it reaches critical mass. I'm going to cheer them on and then, when all is said and done, I'll go back to despising them (which is also my position re: the never-tRumpers in the media like Frum, Rubin, etc. who can be an ally now but will return to being an enemy when this dark period has ended).
