Something really strange just happened

I walked out to throw a beer can in my garbage. The house next door had this bell ringing sound emanating.

Strange thing, sounded like a cell phone, but the bell actually sounded real, almost mechanical.

Thus the joke, hadn't heard that ring in a couple of years.

We had one until about a year ago, never rang at night, so we never heard it. Desk phone at work never rings anymore.

Rotary-phone bells are available. Heck, cathedral bells are available.

Music, sound effects, just about anything.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were a series of them consisting of different Star Wars characters saying "I have a bad feeling about this."
