It was SO great hearing commentators today rave about how perfectly Pelosi's handling impeachment

Words like "brilliant," "adamant," "focused," "disciplined," "relentless," and "perfectly timed" are music to my ears when applied to the woman who has been attacked, criticized, and second-guessed throughout this process but is now showing us she knew exactly what she was doing all along and is now doing it pitch perfect.

GO, Speaker Pelosi!!!

In the midst of a battle, finding the perfect moment to launch the offensive dispute enormous pressures, you know “steady, steady, patience, almost there” and then BOOM the right time arrived. Absolutely brilliant.

Hard to imagine now that there were actually House members who thought it was time for new leadership and wanted her to step down. It's hard to imagine anyone else being able to navigate all the issues she has had to deal with.

But now the world has seen Trump just about piss his pants in fear of her, and we are in awe. Every Republican pundit and politician fears Trump. Pelosi's strength and courage scares the crap out of them all, but they at least respect her now.

including here on DU, who are thankfully largely silent now. Who knew that Nancy Pelosi knew more than they did about the process, the state of her caucus, and the best time to publicly begin the process?

Pelosi was waiting for the right moment; she didn't know that it would come. She just knew that the Mueller Report wasn't it.

I still think the Mueller Report was adequate to Impeach, but this scandal has a much better chance of Conviction in the Senate. Meaning about 1 in 5.

went bust, revealing that, for the most part, they don't really know what they're talking about, and went right back pontificating as if they were never proven wrong, plenty of people here continue to second guess Speaker Pelosi, even though their previous admonitions and criticisms hadn't been proven completely wrong.

"She doesn't want to impeach... she's afraid to impeach... She'll never impeach... She's trying to run out the clock... They didn't impeach the day after the Mueller Report was released, now it's too late to do anything ..." has been replaced with "they must vote on a House resolution to start impeachment" and "She's doing it all wrong."

For many years she has been heading up fundraisers to raise campaign money for Democratic Party candidates, some of whom were ripping her to pieces publicly. The attacks on her didn't matter to her, getting democrats into office seemed to have mattered more.
