Yesterday’s witness intimidation stunt by House Republicans was only the most recent example of their thuggish behavior. Of course, when the party’s leader is a mobbed-up, one-man crime wave, with no respect whatsoever for the Constitution, we shouldn’t be surprised.

They are no longer the party of Lincoln. They are the party of Alex Jones and Qanon. How our standards have fallen.

Their Orange Lizard has made it safe to take the masks and gloves off and gallivant about with abandon now.

This is the Picture of Dorian Gray that was kept in the GOP attic for so long and so, we are seeing the real thing for a change and its the elephant in the room, as well.

Hopefully, this is the last big party and their relevance will keep fading as the demographics most certainly shift enough to bring this dinosaur, gangsta party to extinction. In fact, that realization may be why we are seeing this extreme reaction and grab for power. They know this and so do the Evangelicals.

4. I saw an interview a while back with a retired Republican Congressman from Texas.

He said all politicians have to deal with cranks from time to time. You try not to alienate them, you be polite, you do represent them just like others in your district, you want their vote, but you don't cater to them.

But now his Republican Party seeks out the cranks, encourages them, and has been taken over by the cranks, even electing cranks to office and then to leadership.

He called the GOP the Party of Cranks.
