How many times can chuck Rosenberg be fooled ?

I generally appreciate his analysis. He is often on Rachel or other MSNBC shows. Back when Barr was considered for ag he was one of the former justice official telling us that Barr had a very good reputation, he was a straight arrow, etc..
He later had to admit he was wrong. Now, the same song is being heard from him about John Durham, the prosecutor that barr put in charge to investigate the Russian investigation.
I trust John Durham, respect him, etc..
You would think Rosenberg would have realized by now that Trump corrupts everybody.

I think Rosenberg is a straight arrow who, when he was in the DoJ, worked with other people who seemed to be straight arrows, too. Unfortunately, some of them (like Barr) were either already bad but pretended to be "institutionalists," or who weren't bad but became corrupted by working for Trump (like Rosenstein and maybe Durham). Comey said Trump eats people's souls a bit at a time if they are weak.

I wonder if Barr will try to prosecute Mueller?

Exactly

I think Barr (as directed by Trump) plans to try to prosecute Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Mueller.....Hillary Clinton....

I think we haven't even begun to see what Trump's soul eating will produce....

He would have been only in his early 20s at the time of the Iran Contra scandal in the early '80s and didn't get his law degree until 1990. Some of the cases he did handle included the prosecution of Michael Vick for dog-fighting, and Zacharias Moussaoui for his participation in the 9/11 conspiracy, as well as child pornography prosecutions. He was the Chief of Staff to the FBI director during the Obama administration.

I would expect an old school prosecutor like him would indeed be measured and sober. What bothers me is that he cant seem to be able to see that in the era of Trump, those that work for him are unlikely to be straight arrows.

Don't mean to be a conspiracy theorist but that is what seems to have happened to Lindsey Graham and appears to have happened to AG Barr.

That is what these sinister people do.

To the Ukraine President "Do this dirty deed for us to get $400 mil in defense $ or Vlad Putin gets your country!!"

They're probably looking for people in the intelligence community they can blackmail or bribe to lie.

These Pollyanna politicians who have nothing but respect for someone just tapped by the turd need to buy a clue or phone a friend. The audience ALREADY knows the score of these sycophants.

The ONLY reason the turd would tap ANYONE is because they are "flexible", who will obediently do what they are told to do, regardless of legality. THAT is why he picked them.

Like everyone else has said, repeatedly, everything (and everyone) that the turd touches turns to shit.

Under your argument, Bill Taylor who was chosen by Mike Pompeo (who was chosen by the Turd) would be shit.

Bill Taylor is not shit.

I think the assumption that because Barr tapped Durham makes him shit is a completely incorrect one.
