What you are seeing is an artifact of the ad system, which uses images posted to DU to generate links to various posts in order to create circulating traffic on the site.

That is why most people in this thread don’t know what you are talking about.

I had allowed mine to expire a while back and, yes, it’s a very different appearance of the site for non star members.

However, no one controls the specific images used by that automated system.

I get how the ads work and I can live with that, it's just links back to archived DU posts. I just don't appreciate that it's frequently one of any of those old posts where she's sitting inappropriately on her father's lap like she's seducing him and he's enjoying it. Yuck, just yuck. I'm not suggesting someone is controlling it, I'm just sickened by it and wanted to see if anyone else was too. Thanks for the info jberryhill.
