You don't get to just "take some oil" from another nation, any more than you get to take another nation's people as slaves. If trump wants some Mideastern oil, let him do it the way Rex Tillerson did when he was with ExxonMobil: enter into a production sharing contract, and start drilling wells.

another country? It's a national resource that belongs to the people of Syria, and Trump has no legal claim to it. He says he'll bring in Exxon, but everything he does will have some way to enrich himself. He'll make sure a fat kickback gets back to him unless there is a legal challenge to stop him.
