For a start, Trump has already argued that US forces shouldn't be in Syria and has ordered them to leave, so according to Trump, this raid should have never happened.
Second, the raid was delayed for a month because of the withdrawal order of US forces, triggering the Turkish invasion. And that withdrawal was to create a diversion from the impeachment investigation. Strategy and timing, when lives are at stake, shouldn't be based on the whims of a president.
Third, three children and two women died in this attack.
I don't see anything to gloat about here.

Killing of OBL was a big deal. There will be people in ISIS to come up. ISIS has not been defeated. The U.S. policy, or LACK of one in Syria, will only strengthen ISIS. If Trump thinks Putin, Erdogan, and Assad are going to go to war against ISIS who have escaped, he has made a huge mistake. Things just got worse. Al-Qaeda is not dead. They are biding their time. You cannot defeat terrorism because it is an ideology that has no specific territory or country.
The invasion and occupation of Iraq was the beginning of what we have been seeing , so blame Bush for this blunder.

Baghdadi had already relinquished operational control."
Meaning all they killed was The equivalent of a CEO who sold/gave all all his assets or a mentor who has retired that ISIS could reach.
Should've tried to get him alive as hard as that would have been.
