Trump on Sunday again claimed he wrote a book prior to the terror attacks on 9/11 warning about the dangers of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
I said you have to kill him. You have to take him out. And nobody ever listened to me. ... Lets put it this way: If they had listened to me, a lot of things would have been different, Trump said as he announced that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had died in a U.S.-led raid in Syria, The Guardian reported.
I didnt get any credit. I never do, he continued, referencing his book The America We Deserve, which was published in 2000.

(25,337 posts)Baghdadi was pretty well known. I had heard of Bin Laden before 9/11, but terrorism wasn't on our radar as much back then.
When ISIS formed they were on the news pretty much 24/7 even though they were overseas and didn't have much of an impact on Americans. There was always the fear that they were going to come here and do bad things. (9/11 repeat) Baghdadi was on the news alot.
