Moscow unconvinced by US claims that al-Baghdadi has been killed. Russian defence ministry refers to valid doubts about the reality & success (of the operation), says no air strikes by US or coalition forces registered in Idlib de-escalation zone on Saturday or recent days.

(45,806 posts)Why should I believe him this time? He needs some kind of boost because of the impeachment and Syria mistake, so why wouldn't he make up a story to make him look good?
It's really funny that Vlad doesn't believe him either. Wonder if he'll react with anger toward Vlad the same as he des to anybody in the States who criticize him?

(9,249 posts)All sorts and pieces of news/info/tidbits, etc. will be dribbling out in coming hours, days and months. I expect at some point there will be leaks from the military and the men on the actual mission.
But I enjoy this reaction out of Russia 😁😸
