He thanked the Russians before US Special Forces. Russia throws him under the bus.

Bianna Golodryga:

A lot of emphasis on Russia’s role through out Trump’s description of the al-Baghdadi mission. Trump thanked Russia first. Went on to say “Russia was great, Russia let us fly through space. Russia hates ISIS as much as us.”

Meanwhile, Russia's Minister of Defense says they have no idea what Trump is talking about and casts doubt that the raid even happened.

Note the snark quotes around "yet another" elimination of al-Baghdadi

Russia should be hated in this country. I’d start with wiping out any reception of RT within the United States. Then start funding separatists in within the Russian Federation.

They are doing it to us.

Russia claims it killed ISIS leader al-Baghdadi

Russia said Friday that it killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and other leaders in a strike in late May."

I think Russia also said they did not interfere in the 2016 elections.

We should know by now to not believe anything said by Russia until confirmed by trustworthy 3rd party sources.

When we do this we have to inform them. They do the same thing if they fly through American controlled Syrian airspace. It doesn't mean we would tell them what we were doing, thus the Russian Defense Minister would not have a clue about the attack last night.

If you think the attack didn't happen because the Russian Defense Minister didn't know about it, then you're being intentionally obtuse. Like it or not, it happened, and it was a good mission. Too many sour grapes and chaffed rear ends on this subject here today.
