If I were teaching civics, I would teach these impeachment episodes as fights.

Virginia Standards of Learning tests required of all students.

going live on the proceedings.
My understanding of the situation, was Pelosi thought the 'cons were getting away with the 'secret hearings' [dispite the obvious lies], so she turned the table and grabbed the media's attention, - without giving up hardly anything.
If civics teachers mention this, so much the better.

It disappeared from most schools during the Reagan admin.
