Cable news pushing right wing talking points.

I usually don't watch the early cable news shows other than Nicolle Wallace. I noticed they were pushing right wing talking points, giving Republican talking points as much weight as Democratic. Cable news gave credence to the narrative that the impeachment hearing is unfair and a sham. I'm not talking about Fox, I'm talking about CNN and MSNBC.

They emphasized a new poll that was just released polling people in several swing states. The new poll showed a majority of people opposed impeachment and that poll was discussed numerous times on numerous shows. I have a thing for polls, I don't subscribe to them. I believe that polls are used for propaganda.

Dems had better keep on the ball controlling the narrative, public opinion will be needed to convict Trump.

MSNBC and CNN are not liberal networks from what I witnessed today.

Some are unbiased and some lean to the left. Then there are those that lean to the right such as Andrea "I never met a GOP talking point I didn't want to parrot" Mitchell

3. On NPR this morning on my way to work, they played a clip of a Dem and a Rep...

...talking about the resolution. And that was that. No regard for the fact that the Republican was lying.

Supposedly that somehow constitutes fair reporting. When, in fact, it's anything but fair. This is par for the course with the mainstream media, never mind the garbage on Fox or right wing radio.

4. The Speaker scored big media hits with the latest announcement yesterday, and vote

today.

All the networks are audience concerned. Purist lw & rw doesn't sell as well. Even fox has Dem voices on it.

5. That's why I don't watch US media. This morning I was pleased to see Reuters online

(one of the international news services I look at daily) streaming the House votes live.

6. Yep. On one of the RARE times I listen to CNN,

I witnessed Dana Bash giving Kevin McCarthy's statement equivalence to Pelosi's. He had a point in his remarks, she said. Oops! Turned her off right then and there. I REFUSE to listen to the "both sides" BS. This impeachment is a serious undertaking; and Trump's disregard for Constitutional checks and balances is definitely impeachable. Not going there. I watch Nicolle Wallace and that's it.
