I've noticed even middle income people from Indiana do it.
They never admit that's why they do it for some reason.

I noticed one guy here who owned a series of 'furniture businesses' that always seemed to end up
in a bankruptcy sale!, liquidation clearance! every couple years had a Florida home.

Without saying too much, the Florida residence had to be to handle bankruptcy money more favorably.
