It's always amused me that it was Republicans who forced through the 22nd Amendment limiting a president to two terms.

sadly, it still helps Repubs in the long run. It took FDR 3+ terms in office to turn things around after Repub dominance since the Civil War. Now, Repubs can do more damage in 2 terms than Dems can fix in the next 2.

I seem to recall another recent CON pResident credited with the quip about the Constitution as just “a goddamn piece of paper.” I believe it was the War-Criminal-in-Chief (or maybe his torture-advocate VP) who was always looking for ways to weasel around the rules, the law, and even the Geneva Convention.

..... that would also make it possible for Obama to run again.

That would be fun to watch that debate. Should we or shouldn't we open the door for Obama to run.

I guess Trump's dream of being President for life will be stymied by his nemesis from Kenya!
