Anybody born after October 30th, 2000 has never known a day without a human presence in space.

Since the launch of #ISS Expedition 1 on October 31st, 2000, our Blue Marble has continually had at least a few humans away from home.

We're just too damned fragile.

Our intellectual offspring might; creatures who can walk on the surface of Mars naked.

Sending humans to the moon and beyond is grandstanding, especially if it diverts money from more promising scientific research.

If budgets are limited I'd rather spend the money on more capable robots than life support systems for fragile humans.
