3) They are desperate! I post on bi-partisan boards, this was their take yesterday, "Game over man, the whistle blowers name has been released and they are a Dem operative! Impeachment will be canceled." a) The name is not the whistle blower, it's a name the Right wing always goes after. b) The whistle Blower is now irrelevant, dozens of witnesses have confirmed their account and beyond. The whistle blower could be Hillary Clinton at this point and it would matter zero.
