7. I think it's more like this: If you work in the service industry,

and they don't, then they believe they are better than you. Same as white folk thinking they're better than people of colour. Same as middle-class folk thinking they're better than the poor working class while at the same time "revering" the very rich.

Barack Obama had two strikes against him: he was black and well educated, and smarter than them, and they knew it. So they had to belittle him as much as they could, by continually referring to him as a "community organizer" instead of law professor (so they could avoid being called racist which is what they really were/are). Just boiled their socks, didn't it?
