WASHINGTON— Rep. Kathleen Rice (D., N.Y.) has asked the state committee in charge of licenses for New York attorneys to begin an investigation into what she calls misconduct by Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal lawyer, saying she believes he should be disbarred.

“Mr. Giuliani’s comments in the media alone provide substantial basis to believe that he has repeatedly and egregiously engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his honesty, trustworthiness, and fitness as a lawyer,” she wrote in a letter to the Attorney Grievance Committee for the New York Supreme Court’s First Judicial Department. His conduct “also necessitates a complete investigation to determine whether he advised his client, the President, to engage in conduct that is illegal or fraudul
Two Soviet-born associates of Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, appear to be deeply involved in the Ukraine scandal. WSJ’s Shelby Holliday explains what we know about the pair’s contacts and their efforts.

“Just part of the harassment,” Mr. Giuliani said of efforts to have him disbarred. “It really is outrageous trampling on the ability of a lawyer to defend his client.”

It's about time that Rudy Colludy suffer the same fate as Roy Cohn--disbarment.

does not generate confidence in our broken society.

The professional existence of Giuliani (and many other "attorneys", think Barr among others) as a every day norm is an indictment against the profession and institutions of law. IMHO the many lawyers in politics are a problem. These malevolent and mysteriously owned attorney pawn cutouts serve special interests, not the nation or citizens or anything wholesome.

Let Giuliani bleed out professionally in public as a lesson then throw many more of these legal dirt bags on the metaphorical pyre.
