Trump will not admit he is going bald, needs glasses--and what else??

President Trump’s vision is deeply impaired and he refuses to wear corrective lenses in the presence of other people, NYT casually reports halfway down a long feature about his twitter use. https://nytimes.com/interactive/20

actually, there are quite a few pics on the net with trump wearing glasses........

What a difference 18 holes makes! Trump turns away from the cameras with his glasses on during his trip to the golf course - but gives a huge smile and two thumbs up on his way back to Mar-a-Lago

President Trump left his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida to play golf Friday morning
He turned his face away from reporters as he made a rare appearance in glasses
Despite avoiding the press en route to the golf course, on the way back he removed his glasses to enthusiastically wave and give a thumbs up to crowds

Needing reading glasses is not deeply impaired vision

Nor is it blindness thats plain stupid

My arms are way too short to read a my phone, or even a teleprompter by now without glasses - but I passed the driver's license last year with flying colors. My spouse, in the other hand, is blind as a bat- and has to remove her glasses to read her phone (and holds it about an inch from her nose.

Whoever wrote that article has no clue about age -related far-sightedness.

Most fanatical golfers, even most duffers, are fussy fussy about their vision take it from me. He may wear contacts or shit he can afford Lasik

And you are right , presbyopia is not considered a vision impairment by any insurance company, motor vehicle, FAA, etc

High myopia ( your spouse) on the other hand

The twitter poster really is doing a disfavor to folks with real vision problems

Cannot believe how stupid that news report is.

The guy is 73......vision changes happen to most of us as we get older.
Dunno if he wears contacts for distance, and don't care. He obviously can see to read a teleprompter.
I am sure he manages to make out enough from having the tv on, he's an audio person anyhow.
Him being too vain to be seen with readers on is his problem.

Long as he isn't driving a car with poor vision, it's not an issue.

The insanity that swirls around in his head, THAT's an issue.

The talk about Trump probably having dentures was a topic earlier this year, but the story did not have the teeth to wear on.

If he really had any pride he would walk around with a bag over his head. Or actually, one over his entire body for that matter.

Besides, can't he afford corrective laser surgery? Along with a stylist and a decent tailor? He's such a ridiculous slob.
