Hilarious. Someone having tailored pants, or a suit, may be asked that question. Remember the brew-ha-ha with Jon Hamm, and him preferring to go commando?

Warning! TMI Full disclosure, I ALWAYS wear briefs. Preferably bikini briefs. Sometimes mesh bikini briefs. I DON'T like to hang. Not that there is too much of a danger of that...

If we guys go commando or wear boxers, we may dress "off center", 'cause we hang. Of course with the saggy pants, that wouldn't be an issue. Or maybe the saggy pants is to cover the fact that they DON'T hang???

Going commando has a higher prevalence of the dreaded "wet spot" that may, at certain times, be visible. (The older you get, the more likely there is ALWAYS one more drop.... ) Boxer wearers have less of an issue, since there is SOME material for absorption. Why do you think the fronts of tightey whiteys are double thickness?

If we wear real underwear (ala tighty whiteys), we have support, so we don't veer left or right. We also don't squish ourselves every time we sit down. (I think some guys actually LIKE that. It reminds them that they are a MAN, GODDAMN IT!)

There is something for everyone. We now have almost as many options as women do.

And that is a good thing. (Thank you, Martha)
