Wow, so many themes in this movie. Immigration, people in cages, losing jobs to AI, guns, women are the future. I really liked it. I'm surprised it did not do better at the box office. I think they incorporated a lot of those themes without being preachy. Gotta wonder if the Mexican heroine theme was a turnoff for some?
Anyhoo, I thought Arnold Shwarzenagger and Linda Hamilton were superb.

(8,186 posts)Its a good film. Critics are analyzing why it did poorly. It has gotten good reviews by people who actually went to see it.
Maybe a Mexican immigrant crossing the border who happens to be the savior of the world is not what people want to see?
