Four White House Aides Blatantly Defy Congressional Subpoenas

No legitimate reason why?

We can only suppose they do not believe the Congress has the authority to issue subpoenas during an impeachment investigation?

It's bold and brazen.

What should the Congress do?

Might even offer to sharpen the blade, no quid pro quo required.

As long as it is heavy enough, it will do the job.

No sense endangering the people who have to re-set it each time.

I don't know what the maximum fine is, but between$5 and $10,000 per day defying the subpoena sounds about right. Then subpoena their financial records to look for gifts that trigger gift tax and money laundering statutes.

Just like with toddlers and teenagers. As soon as a few of these people land in jail, the denying of subpoenas will end. IMHO
