(10,167 posts)Bolton's still swears allegiance to the Bush neocon crowd, and the Bush clan despises Trump. What better way to get rid of Trump and open the door for the Bush dynasty restoration in 2024?

(11,949 posts)But being a traitor is not one of them. He has a crazy idea about how The US should act in foreign affairs. But he left when he saw what was going on and was unable to stop it. Thats now apparent.
If he comes out of this as a white hat it will still piss me off. But not that much.
But Im not sure he will help us. He may see the Democratic Party as more dangerous than the Russians. Because if we gain total control his ideas will be trashed. Im afraid he may prefer a bad actor pushing part of his agenda than a party who rejects it all.

(11,949 posts)Unlike some on DU I dont automatically place all conservatives in the traitor column.
With some of them, while I strongly disagree with their beliefs, I dont doubt they are loyal to their reading of the constitution. Unfortunately, most have left or are soon leaving Congress.
After 2020 the only republicans left in the house will have no interest in the constitution. Just power. Same for the Senate.

(374 posts)He's not a forgiving man, and Trump gave him cause.
His opinion of Trump might be the only thing I've ever agreed with him on.
