I think that when finally ousted, the orange monster will declare that all along he has been a dem in disguise and that he ran a ridiculous administration and campaign(s) in order to point out the gullibility, hypocrisy, and corruptibility of modern republicans. He might say that his goal all along was to expose them for what they are. Like a cornered possum, the claws and spittle will fly.

I say this half in jest. One can only hope. His ridiculousness might help the march of progress in the end. I don’t believe it would have been intentional, but I’ll take it nonetheless.

Repugnants won every down-ticket race. Kentucky has not yet hit bottom. Hopefully, the recount will confirm Beshear as governor.

We can't demonstrate there is a difference if Kentucky won't elect a Democrat. The propaganda machine is going full force, here, and people just won't pay attention to history and facts. Teachers who know Bevin tried to take away their retirement and health insurance still voted for the bastard.

Beshear insisted that Bevin's refusal to concede would not affect his ability to govern. "We are moving on with our transition today,” he said.

He also noted that the next governor would need to be sworn in by early December, and expressed hope that Bevin would come around.

“I believe that Governor Bevin will help in that transition,” Beshear said. “I believe that he is going to do the right thing and make sure we are ready to go on Day One.”
