I think Trump shutting down the government would blow up in his face

I keep hearing that he might throw a hissy fit and allow the government to shut down again. That didn’t really go very well for him last time so I wonder how he thinks it’ll work this time. It’ll just expose him as the cry baby he is.

Witness his stance on fire disaster assistance to California, and the three thousand Puerto Ricans who died while he held up hurricane disaster aid to PR. Do we really think he would stop at hurting federal workers (read: "deep state" in his mind) if he thought it would help him stave off impeachment?

If he does a shutdown over impeachment, I hope it whould become another article under abuse of power.
