Trump is going to NYC Veterans Day Parade?

He did not learn his lesson at the World Series or MSG event? Both of those required paid tickets to attend. A street parade in NYC where anyone can attend?

His name is being removed from his buildings and skating rinks in NYC. I am 71 years old and have known a lot of Vietnam Vets. I can tell you they do not like rich people's sons with phony medical deferments (Captain Bone Spurs) avoiding the draft back then.

Is Trump trying to shore up his base with this? See those horrible Inner City Slums who hate me? Did this work for him in Kentucky Governor's Race? I know he came to my neck of the (literal) woods in PA last year to campaign for Wagner. and his candidate was soundly defeated for Governor.

His lawyers aren't telling him to shut his big trap and stay out of places that don't want him there?

1. I doubt he is going to actually be in the parade.

It's more likely that he'll be there at the beginning and then go somewhere else. If he participates in the parade, that would create a huge security issue for the NYPD and the Secret Service. Trump doesn't seem to fond of being in public, unless there is excellent security in place. That's probably wise of him and is also probably the advice of the Secret Service.

He's not very popular in NYC, nor is he with a lot of veterans.

who fled the country and I lost respect for those who were draft dodgers, but I have always had a little less respect for those men who could but will not serve, whether now, or 1970, or 1990, or 1960, or 1950, 1930 or whenever.
