Dear Never Trumpers and other assorted Republicans finally sick of Trump:
So, you have decided that you "just can't" vote for Trump. That is great. And, some of you have dangled the possibility that you might actually vote for---you know---one of us, a---DEMOCRAT! But, then, before we could even work up a decent grin and congratulate you for waking up, you add "---but, it'd have to be the RIGHT Democrat. I could never vote for someone like---"
WHOA, incredibly clueless and ungrateful refugee from the party of insanity! YOU don't get to choose our candidate. You can vote for our candidate, whoever that turns out to be, and be certain that you are not just voting for the best candidate, you are voting for the only candidate who is a loyal American and who will respect our laws and our traditions.
But, really, if you feel the way you say you do about the mad man you helped elect, does it matter who the alternative is? Can you think of ANYONE who would be a worse leader of our nation? I sure can't. If you agree with me about that, it follows that anyone the Democrats choose to run against Trump will be better than him.
We will select someone who is intelligent, competent, thoughtful and kind; someone who cares about you and yours: someone who can laugh even when the joke is on them. But, even if we nominate the proverbial "yeller dog", you'd damn well better bite your tongue and vote Democratic because the alternative is "IT".
