Of COURSE he didn't, he is a grown up...

I sometimes think comparisons between Trump and Obama are not useful because of course President Obama would never have behaved the way Trump behaves because... well everything really, where would you start...comparing them on anything is not just apples and oranges but rocket ships and a horse and buggy.

However as we all miss the President and sometimes to be reminded of the good old days when a grown up was in charge is a good thing...

can not buy "class" President Obama has more class in his little toe than the entire tRump clan has in the whole family. Grifting con artists, low life scammers. The Mafia has more class than the tRumps. It amazes me how many low-life people joined this administration. tRump really did "drain the swamp". He hired the worst ones he could find, and there were many to chose from.

Garish makeup, clothing, gutter speak, and that is the definition of classy.

It's in the eyes of the person, who looks in the mirror what they want to see.

Trump sees 'class,' almost everyone else sees a poser who is trying too hard, except for his staunch base.

Than any ole white boy, just to get by in the public spotlight and make the grade. He was also supremely conscious of being a good role model for any other black or ethnic minority president who would come after him, and he knew that the eyes of the whole nation, and indeed the whole world, were upon him. Although the contrast between Obama and his successor is the most extreme, Obama was also a heckuva lot better president than his predecessor as well.

The Obama have morals, class, manners, affection for each other and other people, they are genuine, they have compassion, they are true to their principles, they are intelligent, knowledgeable, cultured, and I can go on...Anything the creature isn't.

trump was never accepted in New York's high society, they knew he is a monkey dressed in silk with a golden toilet, and nothing else.

from birth.

Black families are usually very cognizant of the need to teach their children that they must be smarter, better behaved, more principled, etc. because we know we don't have the same room for error that white people have. He couldn't screw up for his first 40 years and still hope to be president of the United States as his predecessor did or behave like a pig his entire life and still get in the White House (where he STILL behaves like a pig) like his successor. He had to be practically perfect in every way from birth in order to just be taken seriously.

I assume that white families raising black children also are aware of this. I have no doubt that Obama's family would have raised any child to be exceptional, but they probably took special care to make sure Barack had the tools he needed to navigate and thrive in the world. and among those tools were a heightened vigilance and extraordinary skill sets.

But I agree with you. He did all of those things, not because he's black, but because he is a profoundly decent man.

EARLY on that because she wasn't white, blonde & blue eyed, she would wasn't hired as a Transcriptionist, IN SPITE of the fact that she typed 120 words + per minute, had damn near PERFECT GPA,(top of her class) BUT HER best FRIEND at the time, (her name was BIRGIT & was from Sweden), she was offered position after position, although she could BARELY type 25 words per minute, couldn't spell to save her life, (REAL important for an aspiring medical Transcriptionist), although she'd heard about the ignorance of American bigots, (early 60's during defacto jim crow). she was SO disgusted by the OPEN & obvious unfairness of the system, she packed up & went back home to Sweden.

I was taught this lesson from DAY 1 that where another American could be guaranteed a place in the workplace, due to the color of their skin & ethnicity, (translate that to say what we see playing out before us & the ENTIRE planet, ie, idiots in the WH, who DIDN'T win the race to be there when they can BARELY spell "WH", AKA Kakistocrisy), I would have to be BETTER than perfect to even have a chance to get into the door to interview ....

More that it is his personality. But, even Michelle was at the same level of grace and temperance.

Yet, they remained in control, even though you could see they were holding back beyond normal reactions.

I would be stupefied at times, seeing how well they handled all of the shit flung at them.

They knew that, no matter what they did, it would be judged by racists and cast in a negative light.

So they gave them as little to work with as possible. History proves how well his presidency is already.

Dijon mustard, tan suit... that's all you've got?

A minority has to fly to get where an illiterate corrupt rich white dumbass can stumble into.

I'll note that Hillary also didn't stoop to screaming cuss words either but many of us wouldn't blame her if she did.

90% of republican'ts stand firmly behind the most immoral, unethical, misogynistic, racist, xenophobic, unlawful, infantile, vile, narcissistic and wicked president (quite possibly human being) in United State's history. That tells you everything you need to know about these people.

I really miss having an honorable, decent person in the White House. President Obama is too good for a country where 33% (and sinking fast) of the people in it aren't fit to wipe the sweat from his brow.
