Popcorn time: Campaign ad casts Sessions as a 'traitor' ahead of expected Senate run

Don't you love Repug on Repug vioence? Traitors calling a traitor a traitor for not being sufficiently traitorous.

From the Hill Campaign ad casts Sessions as a 'traitor' ahead of expected Senate run

A Republican PAC is out with a new ad Thursday slamming former Attorney General Jeff Sessions as a “traitor” as he prepares to announce that he’s running for his old Alabama Senate seat.

“The attorney general said, ‘I’m going to recuse myself,’ and I said, ‘Why the hell didn’t he tell me that before I put him in?’ He’s bad. He’s a bad, bad guy,” President Trump says in the ad, which was put out by GRIT PAC.

“Time for Jeff to hang up the cleats. Say ‘no’ to traitor Jeff Sessions,” a narrator adds at the end of the 15-second clip.

GRIT PAC is an independent expenditure committee associated with former Auburn University head football coach Tommy Tuberville, who is one of several Republicans running for the chance to challenge Sen. Doug Jones (D-Ala.) next year.

Sessions is expected to announce Thursday that he’s joining the crowded Republican primary in the race against Jones, who is widely considered one of the most vulnerable Senate incumbents up for reelection next year.

The other con running, aside from Sessions is Roy Moore. Whataya think? And you know what, just desserts for Sessions and may everyone who aided and abetted the traitor in the WH be served up a dish of revenge, cold.

That said, the worst thing about this is having to admit Sessions DID do what no other Trumpster has been willing to do since. He actually followed his ethical requirements to recuse.

Perhaps we'll get lucky and the "pedophile" will run third-party against presumed Republican primary winner, Sessions, split the vote, and Doug Jones will breeze to reelection.

He dedicated his life to the advancement of fundamentalist conservative ideology and was a loyal republican who worked hard for his party. Achieved the office of Senator, the very first prominent repub to endorse Trump and worked diligently on his behalf. Became Attorney General of the US....And, after making a single, ethical decision he will now and forever be scorned and held in contempt, by his one time friends and colleagues...….haha, Jeff!, karma is a bitch!
