Some of this appears to have been a kind of systemic problem at the time at OSU. For some unclear reason, the school allowed men who had no connection to the athletic programs to regularly use certain team locker room facilities. There were men (other than the doctor) who came there to ogle the wrestlers, some of whom engaged in similar acts as they did so. Jordan, an assistant coach, undoubtedly knew this, but so did his boss, the actual coach.

In interviews after this story broke, the coach made reference to the locker room events openly. (There are reports that the coach on occasion physically tossed self-stimulating voyeurs from the facilities.) The coach complained about this regularly to the administrators above him, who did nothing about it. So, I don't see how the situation was some kind of sword hanging over Jordan's head specifically all of these years.

(NB The above relates to the locker room stuff reported in the OP, not the doctor's abusive acts that he performed while supposedly providing medical treatments.)

and "failure to protect". Her and the children's abuser received a 10 year suspended sentence. He served 2 years and was released on probation.
