Trying to make his gut less prominent also makes some sense to me. Possibly back pain - since he sits with his back at a similar angle to vertical. (I have a back injury that is less uncomfortable if it is about 45 degrees to vertical - but back rather than forwards. No one else can stand to drive my car since it feels to them as if they are driving in a recliner.)

There are so many good shots of him standing like that, there is no need for the photoshopped image in the lower right. It's obviously fake and takes away from the rest of the post. We shouldn't use faked images

When he leans forward, the face is more in line with the overhang.
