Bill Barr MUST have known this.

And yet he hasn't recused and someone at DOJ decided only to review the call transcript w/Zelensky, and not the underlying complaint mentioning Parnas and Fruman.

NEWS: Months before Trump asked Zelensky to investigate the Bidens & election interference, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman—both Giuliani clients—urged then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to announce those investigations in return for a state visit to DC.

They were working on this "political" hit-job on Biden, even before Zelensky won election. They were withholding the funds from that government also.

For someone who ran on anti-corruption, it serms he was more ready to engage in Trump's corruption than his predecessor, Poroschenko

He was preparing to go on to CNN to damage Biden on Trump's behalf. The truth of the matter is that Trump forced his to choose a side, and he chose it.

Essentially Zelensky is another Yanukovich, except that instead of being a Putin lackey directly, there is a degree of separation with Trump sitting in-between, so he can appear to the Ukrainian public to not be taking his orders from Moscow.

Oh, look Heckle and Jeckle were involved in this from way back...

Jokes aside, they are all in it up to their necks. Barr, Giuliani, Pompeo, any of them claiming not to have realized what was going on or who was involved, or that it was WRONG are such blatant liars. They have really screwed over Ukraine, in our names. It's awful.
